It's spring break next week and even though we aren't going anywhere we have the flexibility to visit the local sites. So we are flying by the seat of our pants this week and not planning a meal at all. My family will be lost but it's a great time to work on revamping our current options and see if there is something new they want to try!

Spending a little extra time working today....and I'm thinking I need some menu inspiration. It's starting to get boring again. I have been trying new recipes on our snack lunch days but haven't been super successful. Any suggestions?

What does your Sunday look like? It's my day to plan or at least try to get things organized for the upcoming week. Meal plan was figured out yesterday but today I posted for the family. This morning I balanced my check register and worked on adding some of the things I need to do in my planner. Here's what our menu looks like this week...

Each week I pick an affirmation to add to my journal entries daily. Self care includes self love and honestly is one of my favorite tasks of the week. Sometimes these statements ring so true for the time. Remember, you should vow to treat yourself with the same kindness you show others....

This menu took a little more planning for some reason but it's done. I sat down with one kiddo and discussed more lunch options. It was nice to see what I forgot they like and now I have a few more ideas. Plus we have a "To Try" list of things they are willing to try on a weekend or break when they have an alternate option.
