Hey guys I am going to have to close Sewing Place in New Haven. I am on a lung Transplant list. I have ILD and there is no cure other then a new liver. Thank you to every other has allowed me to serve them. Please keep me in your prayers. Love to you all.

Hello to all my friends and family especially the ones who have been through this whole ordeal with my lungs. I truly love each of you. I am back in the hospital but they say my lungs are little better then last time I was here. Thanks again. Godspeed

Hello to so many people I have come to know. I think everyone of you know by now that when there is no activity, no phone, sewing and facebook. I am at Yale and when you're so sick you can't stand it. I forget things like my cellphone. So, hopefully I will be out Monday. Miss you and love you

Hello to all my friends both sewers and sewist. Hope everyone is working on a project or has some work period. Since the pandemic hit us small business owners so hard. The word work has become a challenging word. LOL. Currently I am working with one of the best people I know, Catherine Caseys-Willis of Tinaliah Designs. She is a true artist. I am amazed at the work she does while repairing the hats and making them. She invited me to come and do her seamstress work along beside Shay. I am truly grateful for the work. Right now I am mending a straw handbag. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do it but, I managed. Its like crocheting but with your hands and not a needle. Then I reinforced it with invisible tape and thread. It came out pretty. Oh for all those who rode with me while I was sick? Thank you for all your prayers. I am doing fine now. I am a wheelchair because of my oxygen levels drop when I stand up. We had to move the shop around a little but, that worked out too. OH AND GUYS!!! Her shop is beautiful! Her husband John Willis, photographer and artist, made the shop something to really talk about. Stop by and have a look. God Bless to all and keep up the good work.

The surgery was a success! Lots of people including myself prayed for God to work through 👗✂🙏
Dr. Russo's hands and healed my spine.
Praise God He made it happen. Sewing Place in New Haven will be opening May 1st. I am really nervous but, I have had so much support during this past year and a half from everyone. I can't thank ya'll enough. I have never felt so loved in my life. Even with me being sick. I watched all these strong women and now my self-esteem exist. I had zero before. Thank you too everyone.
