My friends, Acacias Journeys is currently in a bind due to no fault of their own. They are having hvac issues, and we all know that is not cheap.
I know many of you have met, and love my sweet Hekate, and let's face it, you probably miss her sweet self. Some of you have met Leviathan as well. Most have not met any of the other babies, but you will have a chance. Saturday, February 28th, from 12p-6p there is a Self Care and Healing market at Acacias Journeys (information is on the attached flyer). Hekate will be there and she will be available to choose crystals for you just like she did when we were open. But she won't be alone, we will be bringing some, or maybe even all of the others with us as well. You will have the opportunity to take pictures of you or your friends holding the snakes for a small fee that will go to Acacias Journeys to help with their situation. If you can't make it but still want to help, I will add the link to their go fund me at the bottom of the post.
If you have never been there, you are truly missing out, they are wonderful people, with an amazing shop, that are always there trying to help the community anyway they can, so let's return the favor. The snakes will be there at 12p but how long they stay will depend on them, like us they can get overwhelmed. We all know Hekate is a little diva that loved being the center of attention, so she will most likely be available the whole time. Hope to see you all on the 28th!

This is a picture of when the shop first opened 🥹

A lot has happened over the years, lots of ups and downs and moving things, people meeting in these 4 walls and even in the parking lot and at events we've been part of or held.
If you look back through the original pictures of the shop on this page and the old one oh man has it changed. We've all changed so much in just 5 short years...whether you've been part of our family since the beginning or you're newer please take a few minutes to connect with us and read our story, we need your help right now. Acacias is a small women owned business in Fort Wayne and we truly just want to reach as many people as possible and create a spiritual community.

We've run into some problems with our HVAC system, our furnace isnt working right and we're finally getting the ceiling and back room figured out and we are low on finances for rent and to keep things going.

We absolutely want to stay open, we want to be here for the community, we're wanting to keep the shop and get more of an online presence going so both can be thriving and one support the other.

Today we said goodbye to our sweet Ripley. She has been dealing with dementia, cancer, arthritis, and incontinence for awhile. She has lost a ton of weight and it was just time. Many of you knew her and know what a sweet girl she was, and I know if she met you, she loved you, that's just who she was. She has left a huge ripley sized hole in my heart. I will forever be grateful for her.

Ok guys I need some help, I am picking these 3 up in the morning, all 3 are female. I have already decided the blue eyed lucy will be named Isis, one of the albino pieds is mine the other will be Scott Moore . Not sure what he's going to name his yet but I have a few idea's for mine but haven't decided which I like. So I'm going to post my thoughts and tell me which you think is best or feel free to add your own idea's. I already have a Hekate, Leviathan, Jörmungandr and Asclepius so those are out. Im thinking Freya, Brigit, Medusa, Cerridwen, Circe, Demeter, or Athena, but I can't land on one.

Wanting to meet, hold or take pictures with one or more of the snakes? Well here's your chance, we will be doing a meet and greet Saturday night from 5p-8p (weather dependent) at The Healing Hands Night Market. You will definitely be able to meet Hekate, Jörmungandr and Leviathan, and possibly Asclepius and Sunflower as well. We are there strictly to show that snakes aren't nearly scary as many people think. The market is open until 1030pm, but with temps dropping at night the snakes will only be there until 8pm. There's tons of amazing vendors, including a kids market (all items are made and sold by children). There's music, food trucks, and a fire. All are welcome, and you can take pics with the snakes for free, we just ask you follow & share some on the snakes page Serpents of Ravenswolf.
