As the river begins to drop and things slowly start returning to normal, please remember, officials can’t just reopen roads and bridges right away. Everything must be carefully inspected and deemed safe first.

We know it’s frustrating, but this is a flood our community has never faced before. Please continue to be patient, show kindness, and give grace as crews work through the process.

Our hearts are breaking for our community and the surrounding areas as the waters in New London continue to rise.

We are praying for everyone’s safety during this incredibly difficult and uncertain time. The situation is changing quickly, and we ask that everyone gives grace and patience as conditions continue to evolve.

We are beyond grateful for the brave men and women of the New London Police Department, New London Fire Department, Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department, Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department, and all surrounding agencies who are working tirelessly to keep our community safe during this uncharted time.

Please stay safe, look out for one another, and keep our community in your thoughts and prayers. 💚
