Thank you , thank you to all of you that signed the journal that was left at Larks in the last few weeks we were in business. I received it in the mail yesterday and spent all morning laughing and crying as I read the messages and comments. Some of the memories were hilarious and I realized what a special place the shop was and how much fun we had over the years. I wish you all a fond farewell, I wouldn’t have missed a single minute of it.

It’s finally here! Our last day in business before we close our doors for ever. We will be open from 10 till 1 for your last chance of a great bargain.

This is our almost last day! We will open tomorrow, Saturday, 10 till 1 and that will be it! Last chance to get a great bargain, we will be reducing items even further today.

To say it’s been an emotional roller coaster these past weeks would be an understatement. This little boutique in New London, NH has meant the world to me. As have the amazing women that have made it such a success with their loyalty and enthusiasm. I can’t thank you all enough. Some of you have become close friends and I’ll miss you all very much.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do without Larks in my life. It had become almost an extension of me, a way of life. It was what I thought about when I woke in the morning. The hours I put into running it never felt like work, it was just what I did.

I could never have achieved the success I did without my team. Barb was my wingman and never let me down. Kathy was a breath of fresh air in the shop with her decorating and artwork. Marion is the new girl on the block, with her sweet smile and personality. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Come on in today or tomorrow.

This is our final week in business. We still have some gorgeous things left but they have to be sold before the weekend. We have reduced everything further and the bargains are incredible! Tops for $10 and $20, and dresses, pants, jeans and jackets at just $30. Come early for the best picks.

Just some of the great looks we’ve had at Larks. I’ll post more each day till we close. We’re open today and waiting for you to call in for some great bargains. Hate to bring it up but some ladies are thinking about Christmas gifts. We do have some great gloves and hats left.
