I will be walking around on Thursday April, 2nd from 12-2. If you live in the town of New Market, be on the look out for me to capture a shot of your family on your porch. This is a free photo of your family. I will have the files uploaded this weekend and a link for you to download your families photo.


The Front Porch Project was inspired by other photographers capturing families on their porch in this time of social distancing. It’s our way to spread a little love and joy without spreading the coronavirus. This is a crazy time but also a time to hunker down with the ones you love.

The rules are to stay true to the social distancing. I walk the neighborhood, and if a family wants to participate in the project, they come out when they see me. I will not knock on the doors or ring the doorbell. I will keep a safe distance of 10 feet from each family.

This is a worldwide project to document the household during the required stay at home, your home, not a full family that lives in several households.
