Just wanted to take a second to Thank everyone for supporting our tiny nerdy endeavor. Matt and I have been working hard this summer to keep all the plates in the air and August, as usual was a beast! We’re still here We had a great time at Louisiana Vintage Festival meeting so many of you- so many sweethearts in this town!
Today I’m still reorganizing, getting ready for fall funtimes, refilling the cheap thrills rack, slashing some prices and adding in some fall beauties. Come by, I’d love to see ya, ❤️

For our customers that have asked for the info-Thanks! We appreciate your support, curiosity & commitment to support small, local & spicy!
If you are new to us- we are Musicians first, meaning it’s what we do that feeds our souls and we work at it everyday. Whether it’s gigs, practice, support for folks in community or quiet listening, it’s both of our full time jobs.
Tiger Rag Vintage became a passion project along side our musical lives that has grown hand in hand with our music.
After 21 years in New Orleans, it is our absolute privilege to be able to be deeply rooted and giving back in the ways that we can. If our music can bring you joy, if our concert series can fit your spirits, if you came in needing a cheap warm coat or your dream wedding gown- Thank You for giving us that opportunity to be part of your heart’s journey, 🧡
Please help us bring locals back to Frenchmen. So many of us moved to New Orleans because we love the culture. The current state of the Union has changed who has been coming out and it’s not in support of the music. This is killing the clubs all across the city but especially Frenchmen Street. If it can chance in Drumps favor to kill all culture in America- we sure as hell- here in New Orleans-can change it back. We don’t want to lose businesses supporting live music, right?! If you haven’t been down to lend support lately, do you k ow how many bands have listened to slots to DJ’s? Not k picking DJ’s, but a live music street losing live music is devastating to a city dependent on tourism. Show up, it’s so easy and it’s minutes from your house. If you’re reading this and you choose to just scroll past because of some social media popularity we**ie programming- maybe upset the algorithm and actually like this post to help get the word out- for you & all of your friends who are musicians in this town. It’s not just Frenchmen that’s under attack, it’s everything that we’ve all taken for granted that we love about our city. Do it. I’ll definitely be there cheering you on at your next gig, ❤️🙏
Thank You for your heart, you know I love you!

One of the pleasures of mending…..
Button from Harry Hyman, Tailors to the Trade, Inc., 803 Baronne Street New Orleans. Early 60’s Coat Button from a button tin we picked up in Northern Vermont, in the Kingdom, when I used to live there & work on farms. Matt found it today, sorting through to mend a coat- full circle journey of 60 plus years. I love that this tiny, almost unnoticed button has made this round trip journey of 3,298 miles without anyone knowing until now. If you also love that every day objects have their own lives, I’d like to recommend The Museum of Everyday Life
Each exhibit is a celebration of the journey of objects and our relationships to them, including sentiment, wear, objects becoming art, object in states of neglected grace. You can stop by during warmer weather to experience the museum in person in Glover, Vt. Please give my love to Claire if you do, ❤️
