Manifesting a le***an fall love. 🍂 I want cozy dates, pumpkin patches, farmers markets, museum days, coffee runs, wandering around under the changing leaves, and unnecessary amounts of eye contact. Just wholesome gay s**t with cute fall fits and somebody to get a little soft with. ||

Two months into my move to New Orleans, and this city has really been holding me. 🥹 I went to the library yesterday and felt such a sense of safety just being surrounded by books and that familiar smell of them. Not having to worry about the electricity going out, having consistent water, and simply having access to basic necessities feels like such a luxury now.

I’ll never regret moving to the Caribbean. That chapter holds such a special place in my heart and taught me so much about life, resilience, and myself. But New Orleans has been giving me something different community, love, and a sense of belonging that I’m deeply grateful for.

Starting over in a new city hasn’t been peachy and cream, but I’m grateful I followed God’s call to relocate here. I don’t know exactly what this chapter will bring, but I know that anything is possible through Christ who strengthens me. 🤍

Grief is such an interesting thing. One moment you feel like you’re floating, almost weightless, and the next, you’re crashing beneath the surface, struggling to catch your breath.

It’s not just grieving the people you’ve lost. It’s grieving the version of yourself that existed when they were still here when they were strong enough to hold you, comfort you, and make the world feel a little safer.

Now, somehow, you’re learning to hold yourself. To carry the memories, the love, and the pieces of them that still live within you.

And then there’s the grief of everything else you’ve had to leave behind old places, old people, old relationships, old versions of yourself, old lives you thought you would have longer.

Sometimes you realize you’re not grieving just one thing.

You’re grieving an entire chapter of your life.

Just… grieving.

The Lindsay Clancy case is heartbreaking beyond words. Three children lost their lives, a family was shattered, and now a courtroom is being asked to untangle something incredibly complicated: accountability, severe mental illness, postpartum psychosis, medication, and the failures that may have happened before the tragedy.

Two things can be true: the loss of those children is devastating, and we can still have an honest conversation about what happens when a mother’s mental health deteriorates and the people responsible for recognizing the warning signs fail to see or respond to the severity of the crisis.||

Friendly reminder: q***rness doesn’t absolve you from racism. 🏳️‍🌈

You can experience oppression in one part of your identity while still participating in oppression against someone else. Being q***r doesn’t automatically make you anti-racist, inclusive, or safe for every marginalized person.

Intersectionality matters. Accountability matters. And solidarity means confronting racism even when it comes from within our own communities. ||

Dad,

I don’t know exactly what I’m supposed to say right now, so I’m just going to tell you what I know.

You were my everything. You raised me when Mom left, and even when I was that stubborn, rebellious little girl who thought she knew everything, you never stopped loving me. You let me stumble. You let me find my own way. And somehow, you always understood me, even when I didn’t understand myself.

I want you to know that everything good you see in me has pieces of you in it.

I’m sorry for every time I made you worry. I’m sorry for the times I was difficult. I hope you always knew that underneath all my rebellion, I loved you more than I knew how to say.

You gave me a life. You gave me a home. You gave me the freedom to become myself.

And Dad, I’m still your little rebel.

I don’t know what happens next, and I’m not ready to imagine a world without you. So I’m not going to say goodbye like I’m ready.

I’m just going to say thank you.

Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for raising me. Thank you for understanding me.

I love you. And wherever life takes us, I’ll carry you with me for the rest of mine.

So if you need to rest, Dad, know that your little rebel is okay. You did good.

I love you. ❤️

Style Diaries: My Body Is Changing and So Is My Closet.

I’ve realized that getting dressed isn’t just about clothes it’s about learning yourself again. Some pieces don’t fit the way they used to especially as a woman and getting older. Others fit better than I ever expected. And somewhere in between, I’m discovering a new version of my style.

Instead of fighting the changes, I’m choosing to meet them with curiosity and grace. This isn’t about chasing my old body. It’s about honoring the one I’m living in today and finding confidence in every stage of the journey.
