I was just informed by my 10 year old that today is our new favorite holiday…. National Thriftshop Day! Who knew, right?!?
Also did you know that buying and re-wearing ONE pair of thrifted vintage jeans (make ours 70s Levi’s orange tab flares please 🙏) conserves as much water as one person drinks in almost 10 YEARS (at 8 cups of water per day).
So, Happy Thriftshop Day friends. Drink enough water. Wear more vintage! 👖🛍✌️🔮💚

I consider myself just the temporary caretaker of the special vintage garments in my collection. I am simply the guardian, curator, facilitator, if you will… I’ve spent years sourcing and acquiring the finest vintage pieces, lovingly caring for them, swooning, oh’ ing and ah’ing over them 🥰… and, of course picturing the fully freakin’ fabulous second life (or third, fourth, etc.) they’ll get to have. 🔮
I think about where these gowns have been, often many decades removed, and where they’ll go next… how special they were to someone to have been cared for and protected and stored so carefully… I contemplate the special occasion. The scene, the dancing, the jewelry, all of it… both past and future.
I personally select gowns from our collection for each client, usually based on a quick consultation and their input, and (not to brag💁🏻‍♀️)… but I’ve basically NEVER been wrong 🙌👏🏻🥳(not about this anyway 😉)!!!

Then, occasionally, LIGHTENING STRIKES
⚡️🔮⚡️ I put someone in a gown that I’m pretty sure was part of their life’s destiny 🙌✨👏🏻
sort of like soulmates… but make it FASHION! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ the energy that emits from the right girl in the right gown when they’ve found each other, is powerful! Trust me, this is totally a thing 😉🙌the definition of a vibe 🪄. There’s something truly magical about a woman who feels and looks totally at-home in a gown… like her very best self. Like it was meant to be.
That woman, in that gown… her fashion soulmate 😂🥰… sparks fly.

I’m absolutely LOVING Prom Season. I’ve had the pleasure of creating some really special moments recently, through my private in-home shopping sessions, where I bring a personally curated stash of my vintage collection directly to my clients at home.
This client selected some gorgeous gowns, and last night (after some careful alterations and a final steaming) I got to deliver this phenomenal Y2K beauty that also gives me all the Stevie Nicks vibes. It’s a knockout 🥰🔮
