I have been up to a lot lately... traveling, making peace with my Curly Girl Greys (IYKYK) LOL, and following my heart on a new Biz Adventure. I know, I know... I'm always up to something, but it keeps me on my toes. When God drops a hint, you betta Pick It Up!!! My new adventure is Healed By Design. 💕 Dear God...

💕I need to stand still so I can hear you. The world can be so loud and sometimes I just need to phone a friend lol. 🙃 Just drown out the noise and refocus my spirit. The triggers be real. I had a tooth pulled yesterday and as I'm sitting in the chair waiting for a nurse to set me up for an IV, yea there is no way I'm staying awake for this, im listening to all the alarms on the vitals machine.

💕 My heart starts racing, i'm hot now and all of a sudden I feel like I can't breathe. Mini panic attack settling in... ughhh. That sound makes me feel unsafe and alone. What do I do, what do I do...' breathe I tell myself. You are safe Nikkee, you are safe. Ground yourself, look around, its a dental office, remember you are not alone.' I start to hum ... its always been my go- to... any song but it's usually a fav church song lol.

💕And so 'ain't no rock' rolls out then I picture my hubby and some of my fav folks at church and how we used to rock this song lol. And I smile, and giggle, the. My heart beat slows down and I'm better... still nervous but better. And I remember, I'm safe and I'm never alone. I bring my family and my friends with me everywhere and I know God is in the midst.

💕64% of Women actually get a yearly Mammogram.

💕When I scheduled my first mammogram, I wasn't nervous only because my doctor had prepared me to know what to expect. He even told me not to panic if they called me back because the first mammogram almost always had a call back... debris on the film, etc.

💕Bring a friend for support, know the facts, ask lots of questions, have a medical professional that you trust and who supports you, and stay positive.

Prevention is Cure💕
