I’ve been taking a break from selling stuff the last few months with the goal of feeling more connected to making, more excited by it, and more curious about it. This month I’ve spent a lot of time making some fun pieces for myself. I love making because there is something so satisfying about envisioning something and then being able to put it in the world a few hours later. I think this muscle memory can serve as a small blueprint for creating the world we wish to see. It is magical and empowering and has often saved me.

I’ve also been thinking about making and getting dressed akin to saying a little prayer. Something about adorning yourself seems like a promise of hope of commitment to moving through and forward. Thoughts?

Things I’ve made recently:

-self drafted puffy dress from a sheet from
-Bag from some scrap billboard from
-Self drafted dress with a nod to the butterfly blouse
-Self drafted tank!

Just some thoughts on this last day of
