I thought I had posted this earlier this year but apparently I didn’t 🫠

A commissioned piece from the 2025 Mardi Gras season, this gown was designed with comfort, elegance, and movement in mind. It was worn to this year’s Thoth Ball by a very special client who allowed me to create this beautiful one-of-a-kind evening gown with full creative control. Thank you, Christina, for trusting me to create something so beautiful!

Mardi Gras 2024 was a whirlwind for me in the finest sense. I had the pleasure of creating a handful of super fun and whimsical costume pieces; including this many-colored “Mad Hatter type vibe” tailcoat for a very close friend 💜💖💚

We kicked off our Mardi Gras season in style at this year’s parade!! I missed Mardi Gras last year because I was out of town working on a Disney show so this parade was extra exciting for me and we had an absolute blast! Not only do I love stitching beautiful and technical pieces, I also LOVE crafting great costume pieces, hence the name Stitch/Craft. See y’all at next weekend!!!

Over the past couple of days I up-cycled this denim dress (that we took a Winnie The Pooh embroidery from for another project) into a medieval/warrior-inspired skirt for a buddy of mine. The two front pockets are dual access pockets and can store things through both the tops and the sides.

Over the past couple of days I turned these ripped jeans into a wearable work of art for a close friend on mine. These eye patches are almost completely hand-stitched, one of a kind, and made with lots of love. I’ve never done anything quite like this but I’ll definitely be doing it again. I’m very excited about how they turned out!

This Halloween I had the pleasure of creating some really cool wearable works of art for some absolutely wonderful people. As an artist and designer I strive to always pay special attention to detail. This costume was inspired by a doll released by in the 1960’s called “Little Miss No Name.” Thank you so much, Alba, for choosing me to make this long-time dream a reality. It was such a fun and challenging project. If you notice in the pics, we were able to represent every single detail just as it was originally manufactured, even down to which sides of the colorful patches had the larger stitching. I even got to make the “feet shoes” she’s wearing to match the doll’s barefoot look. Making feet shoes was definitely a first but they turned out so amazing AND I got to practice a new skill. She was so happy with the outcome and so was I. Happy Halloween everyone!!

Today is the 28th Annual New Orleans Red Dress Run! Here’s one of my favorite red dresses I ever made. This one is from 2011 and was commissioned by a friend and former mentor. The design is a floor length maternity gown with a dramatic train and is made from satin, chiffon, and lace.

Just finished a hem alteration for a new client, Tonya B! I had the pleasure of working on a gorgeous pair of floral bottoms keeping the original overlocked 1” hem the designer envisioned. After a good press, these bottoms are ready for their brunch debut!
