In November, 2020, I attended a planning meeting for the year 2021. I had an idea to have a networking event called Sister, Sister in April. I wrote out a few event details and chose a date in December.

January 30, 2021 my sister died and completely shattered my whole heart. Today, I am planning a launch event for a scholarship in her honor, on that very date. Random fact: April 24th is her birthday. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate your 25th than this. I love you and words can’t express how much I miss you. Your legacy will live on forever. I’m making sure of it.
