Judith Lafitte and Tom Lowenburg opened Octavia Books in 2000 with a desire to show that a local independent bookstore was essential to the community. That same mission continues to resonate 26 years later, and the shop routinely hosts events, author signings, and book club meetings and is the perfect spot to pick up something on your TBR list.
