Some days your whole life is a chaotic upheaval, and others the universe puts you in the presence of a goddess who understands your love of vintage possibly more than you yourself do.

Dreams and manifestations are things that have ruled me throughout my life, and to walk into a collection of 70s, 80s and 90s Betsey Johnson was something I only dreamed about until last week.

Here’s just a teaser of some of my favorites from that buyout. And about all that I could gather today photo shoot wise because I felt like I was gonna melt in this Big Easy weather.

New Orleans has a bar for every mood, every bad karaoke decision, and every chapter of your life. These are a few of mine. 🍸

This is by no means a definitive “best bars in New Orleans” list. That I can cover in another post. Just a short list of places that have been good to me over the years, for many different reasons and many different seasons.

Honorable mention to Clover Grill because although she’s not a bar, she has never let me down when I needed late night food, all day breakfast, or questionable decisions served a side of fries (my favorite in the quarter!)

Bonus: if you visit Harry’s Corner, you can pop right across the street and visit us at Trashé Vintage. 💀🗑️

He’s out of commission and cashing in his 401K (kat) However, he’s got some parting words for all the haters out there (we’re looking at you Tink, Tink with your three star Cat hating nonsense review 🖕🏼 .. ) Retired too soon, but not forgotten. New Orleans has a way of rejuvenating even the oldest souls. To all of the Rusty fans out there, let us know when you come through to the French Quarter.
