The hat shop where the cowboys stop

It all started with a tea kettle.

In my young teens, I found myself wanting a little different shape to the cowboy hats I had. To see if I could give it my own little spin, I would heat up my mom’s tea kettle on the stove and my hat shaping skills began.

In my college days I would help out at a few western stores and shape their customers hats when I had a little free time. I started earning a hat shaping reputation and my friends started bringing me hats to shape. I started doing the hat ordering for a western store in Ontario, and when that store closed in 2010, I transferred it over and started buying for myself. My girlfriend (wife now) started a little mobile boutique so we set up together at a variety of shows/rodeos around the Northwest. In 2010 I would order a few hat boxes for shows, and now eight years later I order and stock hundreds of hats. Little by little our store has grown.
