Today I went shopping in search of the most necessary things for the baby, because there is less and less time left 🙆🏻 The main task is to pack a bag for the hospital! I found everything for the baby and mom in the first days in one place and even in one bag 👍👏👏 God bless for making my life so much easier! One set of "Mom and Baby" has everything (I didn't even know it existed): diapers and powders, lotions and shampoos, hygiene products for mothers and antibacterial wipes and much more! If I had collected everything myself in different stores, it would have been much more expensive. I left the store satisfied with this bag 🛍 I also looked at toys for the crib and the first clothes for the baby, the quality of which I have already checked before. Before you buy a car seat, you should follow the following recommendations:

You should not buy a used car seat unless you are sure that its elements are not significantly worn and that the seat itself has not been involved in an accident.
Do not take a seat "for growth" when the child's weight does not correspond to his or her group. In this case, there is no guarantee that the seat will be safe.
The younger the child, the more important it is for him or her to be able to sleep comfortably during the trip. Therefore, the child restraint should recline in several positions.
It is also recommended that the seat has the ability to adjust the width and height of the backrest, the length of the cushion, and there should be special locks for the seat belts. A safety table will be very useful for the baby, which will additionally protect him in a collision.
The upholstery of the chair should be freely detachable (for example, for washing) and promote good ventilation so that the child does not sweat and overheat.

You should carefully read the installation instructions and make sure that the seat fits the vehicle. For example, the standard seat belts used to attach the car seat may be too short.

The instruction manual should be included with the car seat and contain the following information: weight group, detailed and clear pictures with the rules for installation, adjustment and operation, as well as warnings about errors that may occur during installation.

Usually, the seats are attached to the car seat using standard seat belts or using a special "ISOFIX" system.

The "isofix" system involves the presence of special brackets on the lower platform of the car seat. This attachment perfectly protects the seat from tipping over, but unfortunately, not all cars support the possibility of installing a car seat with ISOFIX.

The situation with car belts is simpler. In groups "0", "0+" and "I", they are passed through special holes in the bracket on the seat body or through slots. In order to exclude the possibility of a breakdown in fixation due to slippage of the belt, it must be securely fixed with a special clip. The child is restrained in the device with a three-point (Y-shaped, in which there are 2 areas on the shoulders and 1 between the legs) or five-point (2 areas on the shoulders, 2 on the sides and 1 between the legs) seat belt.

Group 2 and 3 child seats do not have built-in belts, and children are secured together with the seat by car seat belts. This way, children are also fastened when using the booster with armrests.

In order to provide maximum comfort for the baby, car seats are available in orthopedic form. The frame is made of lightweight metal or impact-resistant plastic. The lining is made of various hypoallergenic materials. Most devices have reinforced walls on the sides to protect against side collisions.
