I enjoyed coaching these models at a studio in NY back in 2010. Posing with another model is a challenge. You have to be in sync with each other just like dancers. They worked hard on set and had fun.

I received the following question from an aspiring model:

Q. As a new model should I say yes to unpaid photoshoots and runway shows? I just want to get paid for my time today.

A. Yes you should participate in (good quality) runwayshows and photoshoots even if there is no budget for the models.

Reason: You can gain exposure for potential paid modeling gigs and great experience. With experience comes confidence. Use this as an opportunity to build your portfolio and network.

An insurance company is currently seeking actors in their 40s & 50s for Infomercial Testimonials shooting this coming week in CT (Wed in West Hartford & Avon and Thu in East Lyme) as well as future shoots. These pay $170 and only require 1-2 hours. If interested email [email protected] for details .
Auditions will be accepted via cellphone recording.

Actual shoot will take place in Connecticut.
