Meet our workshop facilitator Eli, a craft-based artist originally from Miami, FL, now based in Brooklyn, NY. Inspired by organic shapes and materials from local discount shops, Eli creates a diverse range of art, from collages and jewelry to sculptural pieces and mixology.

Her collages blend family photos, magazine clippings, and found materials to explore themes of childhood and queerness through color, texture, and imagery. During the pandemic, Eli focused on mastering polymer-clay jewelry making and crafted miniature dinner tables that double as incense holders, influenced by their Colombian-Venezuelan heritage.
