☂️ Rainy Day In Paris? ☂️
The Perfect Opportunity To Visit
I’d done my research, obviously — I’d saved about a hundred Instagram posts — but nothing prepares you for walking off a rainy Paris street and into someone’s actual house that just happens to contain a Tiepolo ceiling and the most beautiful Louis XVI armchairs I have ever seen in my life.
The winter garden café stopped me cold. Glass roof, rain pattering overhead, espresso, and a flaky butter croissant. I sat there for forty minutes.
Every room is a masterclass. The tapestries, the silk damask, the carved oak — all of it arranged like a home, not a museum. That’s what gets you. Someone actually lived here. I kept thinking: this is what I’m chasing every time I walk into an antique store back in NY.
Honestly? Must-visit. Non-negotiable.
