Melissa Battifarano, designer of Tony 1923, dedicates brand design, name and style to her late father who raised her as a single parent, 1923 being the year he was born.
Her designs are based on his Italian-American, suave, fashionable and bold styles. Created during a time that no one could step out of their comfort zone, Battifarano makes comfort clothes fashionable, with cashmere tracksuits and embroidered tees with intricate detail and desirable style!
Battifarano has spent decades in the fashion industry working for brands such as Tory Burch, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren and Sean John. Most recently, she was design director of the FENTY PUMA by Rihanna and Vice President of design for the SAVAGE X FENTY.
