Since the beginning of the brand in 2003 DELUXE has changed and grown with various terms. The fusion of values such as tailoring and high-street. Also, the fashion scene has been changing at an increasing pace with the times. DELUXE has grown up with its roots in street culture from around the world, and the city of Tokyo, which has absorbed and refined it in a chaotic manner. The brand’s approach to clothing production is one of thorough attention to everything from sewing techniques to even a zipper. The spirit of “learning from the past” that links the good old methods with the ever-changing trends. Based on the stories spun in this way, the brand aims to create products that bring “ Genuine” to those who wear them, and aims to be the highest level of street = DELUXE.

The first ZIP-UP jacket in the Darts Pocket series.
Made from an ultra-lightweight, water-repellent fabric.
It features a slightly A-line silhouette with a relaxed fit.
The zippered chest pocket, positioned parallel to the front zipper, is connected to the concealed-zip darts pockets on both sides.
Inside these darts pockets, additional inner pockets are also placed.
By hooking the cuff tab onto your finger and leaning forward, the sleeve opening naturally closes — a functional design detail.

Kapital, a brand founded in 1984 by Toshikiyo Hirata in Kojima, Okayama, stands out as a key player in this movement. The brand blends elements of streetwear, luxury, and heritage through a distinctly Japanese perspective, merging traditional craftsmanship with modern design.
Kapital’s growth accelerated in the 2000s when Toshikiyo’s son, Kiro, joined the business, bringing fresh design ideas. The brand is known for its unique use of distressed denim, patchwork, and a mix of both American and Japanese cultural references.
