The other day I posted in my stories encouraging you to show up and post the content that you want to make, and that I will be your cheerleader.

I got a bunch of DMs, so if you sent me a message, this one is for you.

We all have insecurities when we post online. The only difference is that our “why” is greater than our fear. I’m sharing with you some of my experience being around people who talk on camera for a living, and we are ALL the same.

That, and PRACTICE! According to , it’s “REPS OVER RESEARCH.” And because you know I’m always learning and honing my skills, you’ll be seeing me do a lot more yapping on camera for a bit while I put this right into practice with her .

I’m so excited to be a part of her community and to see how much I improve over the next few weeks! Let’s GO!

I’ve been homeschooling for a few years now, and we school all year round. So naturally, having a method for keeping our skills fresh when we travel is so important.

I’m always looking for the best method so we can refresh those skills with ease and get on with our travel plans.

I used to pack up all the worksheets and books, but now I travel with less and simplify with Reading Eggs. They also have a math program called Math Seeds, which makes it easy to keep both reading and math practice going from almost anywhere. You can try it out with a 30 Day Free Trial by clicking the link in my bio or commenting “READ” and I will send you the link.

My kids love it because it’s game based, and they earn coins to go shopping in the platform. Who doesn’t love a fun and engaging program that makes it easy to learn from anywhere?

It has helped me simplify our homeschool travel routine without feeling like we are falling behind on skills.

I recently became an affiliate with this company after years of using it and loving it. I may earn a small commission if you purchase through my link. I’m very selective about the products I share and will only share what I actually use and love.

I need homeschool moms to hear this.

I’ve been guilty of this too.

Sometimes we spend so much time researching curriculum, comparing approaches, reading reviews, watching videos, and asking for advice that we never actually move forward.
In business, there’s a term for this: analysis paralysis.

It’s what happens when gathering more information starts replacing taking action.
And I get it. The decisions we make for our kids feel important. We want to get it right.

But here’s what I’ve learned after years of homeschooling:
There is no perfect curriculum.
There is no perfect schedule.
There is no perfect homeschool.
Most of the growth comes from doing.
From trying something.
From seeing what works.
From seeing what doesn’t.

In fact, research has found that having too many options can actually make decision-making harder and increase stress and dissatisfaction. Psychologist Barry Schwartz called this The Paradox of Choice.

Sometimes the next right step is simply choosing a direction and trusting yourself enough to begin.

Because momentum teaches us things that research never can.

The truth is, some of the best decisions I’ve made came after I stopped overthinking and started doing.

And some of the decisions that didn’t work out? Those taught us valuable lessons too.

Progress almost always beats perfection.
Let’s talk about it in the comments.

Moms, Does anyone else feel like things are changing? I’ve been feeling like I need to start listening and trusting myself more than I do. I have the tendency to silence what I really need in order to keep boats floating. The work, the school, life.

But eventually you realize that constantly ignoring yourself comes at a cost too.

So lately I’ve been trying to slow down enough to actually hear my own thoughts again. To stop second guessing every feeling and nudging myself out of what I know deep down I need.

Maybe that’s part of growing. Learning when to hold on… and when to finally trust yourself.

Anyone else have Ella stuck in their heads on repeat?

Nothing like a dose of humble pie from your child. I can’t believe I have kids old enough to tell “Yo Mama Jokes” 😂

I hope this helps someone and you can save a little money.

Homeschool Moms Hallelujah! Everything Hallelujah. I’m so thankful we homeschool. My reason list grows everyday.

Homeschool Moms Hallelujah! I don’t think there is enough space for me to write down all the things I’m singing Hallelujah for.

For sure Homeschooling has given us access to the type of life we are grateful for everyday.
