worn-out thrift store clothing that his mother would buy for him or was donated to her by schools, churches or community centers. it made no difference to me where the clothes came from, what mattered was that at least we had some. I remember only feeling grateful every time mom would come home with "new clothes" because I knew she worked hard everyday selling food out on the streets to put a roof over our heads, food on the table and those clothes over our shoulders. Mom is my inspiration, and the perfect example of what it means to hustle everyday, build in silence and stay humble. If I could go back in time and change anything from my past, I would only go back to experience the ride and the adrenalin of reliving the life changing events, that set the foundation to build the pillars that raised me from ground up, and taught to stay grounded and focused on forging a better future. Who I was yesterday needed to exist, because without him, I wouldn't be who I am today. I would keep everything exactly as it was..
