⚠️MASKS&TOTES UPDATE⚠️
Hi Friends!
Firstly, thank you so much for supporting this page. We’re super excited to share all of the new products we’re developing for Masks&Totes and can’t wait for you to see them finally.
However, this isn’t an update about new products. This is an update about our new FB page M&T
You’re probably thinking to yourself - why are they creating a new FB page when they already have this one? The reason is part of a larger story and battle we’ve been fighting since we started Masks&Totes, which revolves around FB’s stringent mask advertising policy.
Since starting Masks&Totes, FB has blocked us from advertising. There are two main reasons: (1) FB didn’t want too many masks flooding the marketplace, and (2) FB didn’t want new companies (like ours) to enter the market with excellent masks and leave bigger companies (with bigger ad budgets) in the dust. So they created a policy blocking new companies from advertising their masks.
Initially, it was tough to imagine how we would overcome the obstacle of not being able to advertise on social media. But we also felt very strongly that our masks are great and that (given the public health crisis) we should do everything we could to get our great masks out there. That’s where setting up a new page comes in.
We have now started M&T and ask for you to Like and Follow us. We promise we’ll keep making great masks and great content, and *hopefully, with any luck* we’ll continue to grow and expand our product offering.
