Over the years we've come to realise that the best restaurants and the best tailoring houses have more in common than you might think.

Both are built on craft. Both rely on precision. Both obsess over the details that most people never see. And both exist to make people feel special.

Cad & The Dandy recently sat down with Jason Atherton, one of Britain's most celebrated chefs, to discuss hospitality, leadership, tailoring and the standards we set for ourselves and the people around us.

Eight years at Cad and I’m only just getting round to a linen suit. I started with to***co in mind and nearly talked myself into black but I decided to leave that to Steve. I opted with this navy that’s petrol-toned, a bit green depending on the light. Not the first colour you’d reach for in linen, which is half the point.
I’m not fighting the creases. That’s the whole thing with linen it tells you where it’s been.
A chambray shirt when I’m keeping it casual and easy. Poplin and a tie for wedding season.
