One week to go.

On June 8, Tigist Petites will host an intimate evening conversation at exploring self-mentorship, decision-making, presence, and what it means to build a meaningful career without a clear blueprint.

We’ll be joined by remarkable women from medicine, finance, and social impact sharing the lessons they’ve learned while navigating paths uniquely their own.

We are looking forward to an evening of thoughtful conversation, new connections, and honest reflections on how we grow into ourselves professionally and personally.

If this conversation resonates with you, DM us to request an invitation.

An evening conversation on self-mentorship, presence, decision-making, and building a meaningful career without a clear blueprint.

On June 8, Tigist Petites will be hosting an intimate salon-style discussion at NeueHouse NYC with women across medicine, finance, and social impact exploring what it means to trust yourself as you build your path in real time.

As a brand, we care deeply about how women move through professional spaces and how presence is shaped over time through experience, self-trust, and how we present ourselves in the physical world.

This will be a thoughtful, curated evening and space is intentionally limited. If this conversation resonates with you and you’re interested in attending, feel free to DM us.

There is nothing quite like meeting the woman you designed for in person. The one whose frustrations, routines, ambitions, and standards shaped the product long before it existed.

One of the things I’ve loved most about hosting private shopping experiences recently is hearing women articulate, completely unprompted, the exact problems Tigist Petites was designed to solve.

Tigist Petites was created for women under 5’4” navigating demanding professional environments and looking for clothing that supports how they move through them. That same level of care guided how the pieces are made, which is why I chose to produce locally in New York’s Garment District with a CFDA-affiliated factory focused on craftsmanship and labor standards.

Seeing the product meet the woman it was designed for has been one of the most meaningful parts of this journey so far.

Thank you to for creating space for these conversations and connections to happen.

Uniform dressing brings clarity through consistency.

When something works exceptionally well, lean into it. That is how your presence becomes unmistakable.

- The Fit Brief

When you add an unexpected detail to your work dress, it leaves an impression.

In this edition of our How to Style series, we’re turning a scarf into a tie, adding structure and contrast to the Sara Dress.

Sometimes it’s the simplest shift that changes how the whole look feels.

There is something we love about trunk shows.

It is the rare moment when Tigist Petites moves from concept to experience. When the dresses are no longer ideas about fit, proportion, and presence, but something a woman can feel on her body.

Last week in Hudson Yards, at the Starrett-Lehigh Building, we brought Tigist Petites into the room with a remarkable group of women.

Women under 5’4” who are leading across industries—from finance to healthcare to public policy. Women who care deeply about the work they do, and equally about how they show up to do it.

They asked thoughtful questions. They noticed the fabrics. They cared about the story behind the garments, from adapting the visual language of menswear for the petite feminine form to maintaining a local supply chain that prioritizes craftsmanship and labor standards.

And when they found their piece, they knew.

As a founder, there is nothing more meaningful than seeing the intention behind the work land in real time. To see the dress do what it was designed to do: support her ambition and get out of her way.

Thank you to for creating the space for this to happen.

Most clothing is not designed for petite women. And it’s not personal.

Brands are not making careless decisions. They design for what is most predictable to produce, the most efficient to scale, and most likely to sell. In a margin-sensitive industry, this is what fiscal responsibility looks like.

But those decisions are made within a system built around a narrow set of assumptions about height, proportions, and what most customers will tolerate in terms of fit.

So while the logic is sound, the outcome is often compromise for the customer. Clothing that works well enough for many, but not precisely for anyone.

When a brand is built around a specific customer, the results tend to be better across the board. Fit improves, demand is easier to read, and the business is better positioned to perform well over time.

The Fit Brief is where we continue to explore what better fit makes possible for women under 5’4”.

Tigist Petites began with a question: Why should women under 5’4” accept a world that was not designed with them in mind?

What started as a personal frustration became a broader exploration of presence, perception, and how power is expressed in professional spaces.

When the right fit does not exist, you build it.
