First off, this coat did sell but it should live here in posterity.

Because it is arguably the finest Burberry garment I’ve laid my hands on — and it wasn’t even made in England! But Austria, where this type of fabric (loden) originates from. And by who exactly I don’t know, but hope they’re still making clothes.

New with tags, Polo Ralph Lauren suede bomber-style jacket in size XL. Read on.

So RL Polo Country pumped out a lot of suede bomber-style jackets in the late 80s/early 90s but they are very heavy and robust. Yes, they’ll last decades but can be fatiguing to wear.

In the last 10ish years PRL produced tons of these trim bomber-style suede jackets that are great for casual wear, but pretty light duty.

Then you have this piece (approx 20 y/o) sitting beautifully in between - robust enough to be worn hard but light enough for a relaxing day out and about. Peak PRL.
