Every year I look forward to the Met Gala but after it was announced that Jeff Bezos is sponsoring the event, I’m feeling conflicted about supporting it.

Can we separate the fashion from the systems behind it? Or is our attention part of the endorsement?

Here’s the thing, being a vintage dealer is the source.

I’ve spent years researching, building relationships, and learning where and how to find pieces worth investing in. That knowledge is the business.

I’m always happy to share and educate, but some parts of the process are what make this a business.
