Mary McFadden was a trailblazing American fashion designer celebrated for her globally inspired, architecturally elegant evening gowns. Dubbed the “High Priestess of High Fashion” and a “fashion archeologist,” she was the first female president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Her designs are coveted and have been worn by Jackie O and Diana Vreeland.
