Shooting is integral to what we do, our favorite part of the process is giving life to pieces we make. Capturing our story, our way with the help of our friends and colleagues.

Looking back at these outtakes from our past shoots makes us feel both nostalgic and excited about the new things we have coming. It’s been a journey of learning as we go and using what we can to highlight the narratives we feel are important.

Everything is what you make it and for us it’s always about finding a way, creating a path and not letting circumstances stop us from being creative.

Capturing the environment through our clothes 🌎 Loving these outtakes from our shoot with for Google Pixels Creators Lab where we shot at an abandoned water park in Juan Dolio 🇩🇴 Throughout the years we’ve consistently stayed true to highlighting other alternatives and narratives. Everything can become an opportunity to take people places and show the value in the forgotten.

ZAFRA, our metaphor for abundance.
Inspired by what we saw on an everyday basis~ from the pre-consumer scraps discarded from local tailor shops to all the second hand goods that are imported to DR. When we first started Tiempo de Zafra, it began as a conversation about our global consumption habits.

By working with the abundance of textile that has been available at our disposal, we’ve been able to create signature pieces that have helped us continue to grow our small atelier in Santo Domingo 🇩🇴 But as we grow, so does our collection of leftover fabrics 🚨 So it’s important for us to continuously reinvent our process.

Our excess pocket series is an ongoing experiment of what can be made from all the pockets we’ve accumulated from our utility cargo skirt (check slide)~ skirt layered over our excess pocket pant and our latest excess pocket jacket first made with a built in backpack for

CHRMD x TDZ Dual Pleated Hoodie ✂️

Looking at life from the perspective of potential and opportunity ~ one thing can transform in different ways depending on how you see them 🔄

Recently we came together with JR+Sarah to work on a limited run of “Hands on” hoodies that we intervened with dead stock fabric to give them a refresh and adding elements of versatility. This particular style gives you the option to wear the hoodie with or without the pleated kilt panel for a layered style.

TDZ Multi-Color Utility Skirt ♻️ Every custom piece has its own story ~ second hand garments reworked into unique statement pieces. This Custom skirt made as special request from , channeling the energy of our other Multi-Color pieces; a collaging of denim with a clash of prints, colors and logos.

Over the years we’ve been doing fashion our way, running our own atelier and design team, pattern making, sourcing and producing custom pieces from second hand goods and excess materials. Each piece made with the intention to bring awareness to our global consumption habits. We’re grateful for our collaborators that have given us the opportunity to create these pieces that are now out in the world, existing as pieces that spark conversations.

TDZ represents the freedom to be yourself without apologizing for it! The autonomy to make your choices and be authentically you 🫶🏾♻️
