Happy Sunday, everyone! We hope you’re getting this beautiful weather we are having in NYC.

We built our company around the basic premise of serving a patient demographic in need (wide styles) and utilizing our resources to support future eye doctors.

We are happy to announce that we are launching our virtual series: Weyed-en Your Horizons. Our intention with this project is to arm young eye doctors and those about to graduate with as many resources and support as possible - so that they’re prepared for the world of work.

The series will run at least monthly, with .quy (and his extensive knowledge of the field and experience in mentoring young doctors) acting as the host, to discuss various topics relevant to career preparation and success. We will also invite various guests to join, and together, we hope to build a community where one person’s success and experiences can be used to buoyed everyone else’s.

In addition, through Weyed, 20 young ODs/student ODs, will have the opportunity to apply to and join our support/accountability group. Our intention is to give everyone direct access to experienced doctors in the field and to each other, as they navigate this important early chapter of their careers. We will announce this in our first virtual meeting.

At Weyed, we believe that our success is and should be everyone else’s success. And we are excited to get this started!

Happy Tuesday, ya’ll! We hope you’re having a fabulous start to your week.

Now that spring is here and lots of sunshine ☀️ around the corner, we hope you have some comfortable and stylish sunglasses to protect your eyes!

Today, we feature our good friend from California wearing our Ali frames - in an eye size of 58! Jeff’s always had issues finding glasses that were large enough to fit him comfortably. After we shipped him a pair, he won’t have to worry about finding large, stylish glasses that fit him ever again!

Jeff, you’re looking real sharp with those glasses, in that sunny Cali weather! 🕶

Hi friends 👋

Meet Ildan, a 6’3 patient from Queens, NY.

For most of his life, whenever it came to picking out glasses, he had issues finding ones that fit due to his larger frame. And when he did find one, they would be bulky and not very stylish. It was impossible for him to find options that fit him both in form and function.

Just this past month, he came across our Weyed glasses, and they fit him so well, and he felt so stylish wearing them…he bought not one, but two! Here he is wearing our Merkel and Fleming frames. You’re looking so GQ, Ildan! Get all up in that!

Patients like Ildan is the reason why we created our oversized frame line, Weyed. We are so excited patients like him are finally discovering our product!

Ohh, what’s that back there? Is that a smaller frame?

Ohh, someone just pushed it back to make it look smaller.

Wait a minute! That regular frame next to our Weyed frame looks minuscule!

Our frames are actually THAT big! We know our patients needing those wider and larger frames get NO love, so we created this just for them! Our whole collection has frames with A sizes 58 all the way to 63, with temple lengths to 160! Oh so weyed!

To all our patients who feel they get no love with large sizes, while looking stylish, we see you! ❤️

Hi friends! We are excited to introduce to you: Weyed (pronounced wīd).

We created this specifically to meet the needs of a patient demographic that has long been overlooked: large frame styles without a compromise in fashion and comfort.

Founded by .quy who has spent the majority of his career working with students, especially under-represented minority students, we aspire to give back and empower our future eye doctors. He promises to give 5% of all profits to help the next generation of eye doctors.
