Come with me to Syros, Greece 🇬🇷 to join our Boundless Life cohort!

If you’ve never heard of Boundless Life, it’s a turnkey solution for family travel, handling housing, summer camps, coworking, and a built-in community.

From Athens, it’s a 35-minute flight on a very tiny plane to a very tiny airport. The Boundless team was waiting for us, got us into taxis, helped us settle into our apartment, and even had a photo of our family waiting for us. The cutest touch!

The next day, we met the other families and instructors at the welcome brunch. We were among the last to leave because the kids were having SO much fun—and Jack was already asking to come back next year!

Camp starts Monday, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Summer camps don’t have to be in the U.S.—even if you’re American.

For the past 8 years, we’ve enrolled our kids in camps all over Europe, and it’s become one of our favorite ways to travel. They’ve learned new skills, made friends from around the world, gained independence, and had experiences they never would have had at home.

A super quick review of the Makki.

I spent two weeks riding the Makki, and overall, it’s a solid front-loading cargo bike. I loved the spacious bucket, low center of gravity, upright Dutch-style ride, sturdy kickstand, and reliable motor with a carbon belt drive for low maintenance.

My biggest downside? The turning radius is huge, making tight turns more difficult than on many other cargo bikes.

If you’re in Europe and looking for a practical family cargo bike, it’s definitely worth considering.

This was my step-by-step process for preparing my ND kid for his first sleepaway experience at Village Camps

It took months and there were lots of ups and downs, but in the end, he loved it.

And I’m so glad we gently pushed him out of his comfort zone. It helped him in so many levels.

He says he now wants to do 4 weeks next summer!
