END. Presents: London Fashion Week Field Notes, curated by Womenswear Buyer Georgia Freeman.

London Fashion Week has always been about nurturing British talent, and this season felt like a celebration of that from every angle. From the return of Alexander McQueen to the youngest names shaping the future of British fashion, there was a real sense of excitement in the air.

Barbour kicked things off with Tartan Reimagined at the Saatchi Gallery, bringing together 130 years of heritage with new collaborations, including pieces created with Aardman and ERDEM. I also got to see the Barbour Re-Loved programme in action, where old jackets are rewaxed and transformed for another life.

TOGA was another LFW highlight, with feathers, silver details, huge V-necks, and asymmetrical cuts offering a fresh take on formal dressing.

KNWLS took over a school hall for SS27, with incredible colour, leather, and lace styled with the kind of deliberate messiness that made everything feel completely real. I can’t wait for this collection to arrive at our London and Milan stores.

Then came Simone Rocha, where the street style outside The Old Bailey was almost as memorable as the show itself. The collection was typically ethereal, with bomber jackets, lace-trimmed satin skirts, and sharp heels embodying the powerful femininity that defines Simone’s designs.
