Ryker Clothing Co. Premium gym clothes, without the plastic.

Ever wonder why your gym shorts smell HORRIBLE after one workout? It comes down to the fabric.

Synthetic materials like polyester are oleophilic—meaning they naturally attract and hold onto body oils. When you sweat, those oils get locked deep into the synthetic fibers, creating a perfect breeding ground for odor-causing bacteria. That’s why you get that “gym shorts” smell - that can even linger after the wash.

Natural fibers, like organic cotton and merino wool, respond differently. They don’t attract and trap oils the way synthetics do, which keeps smelly bacteria from building up over time.

Just another reason natural fibers are best for both workout and everyday wear.

Ladies - if you’re the crunchy one in the relationship, you’ve gotta get him to stop wearing polyester.

You detoxed his kitchen and his bathroom. But he’s still walking around in plastic clothes all day??

Get him in healthier gear where it counts. Underwear. Shorts. Anything touching his skin.

Because if you’re living a low tox lifestyle - natural clothes should be apart of that.

For the first time in human history, the majority of your clothes are literally made of plastic. How did we get here?

It started in 1951 - when chemical companies like Dupont claimed they had created a “miracle fiber”.

What really happened? They figured out a way to turn their surplus oil into fabric.

Throughout the 60s and 70s, production exploded - bringing us to today - where nearly 60% of clothes and 99% of activewear are made of polyester - aka, plastic.

Unfortunately - like most things with giant industries - this comes at the expense of human health.

Studies show that polyester fabrics can contain 40x the allowable limit of BPA - a known hormone disruptor - and can even leach these chemicals into your skin and bloodstream.

Not only that - polyester accounts for nearly 35% of microplastics in our water supply - which eventually you ingest again.

The thing is - we didn’t always wear plastic. For centuries - humans wore natural, non-toxic fibers like wool, silk, linen and cotton.

And that’s what we do here at . We make men’s activewear with only natural fibers like organic cotton and Merino wool. No polyester or plastic based fabrics.

Because we believe you shouldn’t believe the Big Clothing lie that plastic = performance.

Actually insane how difficult this is to find these days…

05/25/2026

Don’t listen to the clothing industry lies.

There’s nothing “sustainable” about wearing old plastic bottles.

Switch to natural fibers. Cotton, linen, wool. REAL materials - not plastic.

Don’t believe the lie that polyester is more “sustainable”.

There’s nothing sustainable about wearing plastic.

For the first time ever in our history as human beings, people are actually choosing to wear plastic on a daily basis and even paying a premium price for it.

This trend we’re seeing here began in 1951 when DuPont began to commercially start producing Dacron, which is a blend between a synthetic material like polyester and other sorts of natural fabrics.

Following that was the 1970s disco era, which really popularized these polyester clothing blends.

Fast forward to today, modern times, polyester now makes up for nearly 60% of all fiber production.

Unfortunately, this comes at the expense of human health. Studies have shown that clothing made from synthetic fabrics like polyester may contain three times the recommended health guideline for forever chemicals.

By wearing this clothing on a daily basis, you could be shedding over a billion microplastic fibers in a single year.

Not only is this a health issue, but it is also draining people’s wallets. A lot of the prices that some of the top brands in this market are selling their clothing for is absolutely outrageous.

So, basically, you’re paying extra for something that is toxic to your hormones and could cause long-term health issues.

Which is actually kind of crazy considering the fact that natural fabric alternatives that we’ve been using for hundreds of years like cotton, wool, and linen are very available.

This is exactly what we do here at

We make men’s activewear made with natural, non-toxic fabrics like 100% organic cotton.

Because you shouldn’t have to wear plastic to the gym.

You really hate to see it…
