Today I stepped out in my own “GORGEOUS” tee to run my errands… and I caught a few looks that seemed to say, “How dare she have the gall?” 😂

I smiled. I nodded. And in my mind, I said, “Yes, sis. I dare.” 💅🏾

Then I gave them a little nod of approval—as if to say, You can step into this energy too. You’re gorgeous too.

Because that’s exactly why I wear my own shirts everywhere I go.

I want women to see me walking around in these bold declarations and remember that they’re allowed to feel beautiful. Allowed to take up space. Allowed to walk into a room and KNOW they are that girl.

The reactions? Exactly what I intended. 😉

Years ago, I created a t-shirt that simply said, “Absolutely Breathtaking.”

Not because those were words I heard often…But because they were words I longed to hear from my then, husband.

I also wanted women to wear reminders of the things we sometimes wait our whole lives for someone else to say. Truthfully, I needed that reminder too.

Fast forward several years.

After doing the inner work, healing, growing, and learning to truly see my own worth, something unexpected has started happening.

Complete strangers have begun describing me with those exact words.

Not once.

Multiple times.

It makes me smile because it reminds me that sometimes the very encouragement we spend years pouring into others has a way of finding its way back to us when we give it to ourselves.

So if you’re in a season of healing, don’t stop speaking life over yourself. Don’t stop creating. Don’t stop believing you’re worthy of beautiful things—even before someone else confirms them.

Even on bad hair days… we are STILL stunning. 🤍

It’s been raining for four days straight where I am 😩🌧️
The hair might not be cooperating. The curls might be doing their own thing. The bonnet might be making surprise appearances. 😂

But I made these shirts for moments like this.

Because even in our t-shirts…
Even in our natural state…
Even on the messy days…

We are still worthy.
We are still beautiful.
We are still enough. ✨
