Did you know we celebrated our 4 year anniversary on the eve of this August Black Business Month?! Well I’ve been thinking a lot about our story. My dream for crescent bleu™ flourished over a love of travel and rest— but this dream really took flight while lounging on the beach in Tulum.
🎂 I’d arrived for a wellness retreat with just a small carry-on of swim and yoga wear. FInding suits for this trip (& others) wasn’t easy. They were always too expensive, terrible quality, and didn’t fit, flatter, or function well. I began to see an opportunity to create a brand that puts the needs of swimsuit wearers first.
🎂 I prioritized functionality, fit, and quality, while producing eco-friendly modern pieces that mix or match to suit customer’s diverse lifestyles.
In 2019, I traveled all the way to Bali to connect with makers & did not stop knocking on doors until I found the manufacturer whose quality, process, and values aligned with mine.
🎂 Since then it has been my mission to promote body positivity and inclusive representation with eco-friendly thoughtfully designed styles that empower our wearers, ensuring they feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in their own skin.
