This piece was shaped by Sarah’s beautiful quilts and naturally dyed textiles, and a shared focus on honoring the material instead of chopping them up too much. With simple shapes (just a few seams) and very intentional, hand-finished details ! lots of bias tape made and sewn by hand 😅

I love the contrast of sharp pleats in the back of the top with the softness of the gathered skirt.

I’m so thankful I got to be part of this collaboration, and really excited to have had the chance to work alongside my forever mentor and friend to help bring this look to life. It felt like such a special process from start to finish.

Just returned from an inspiring couple of weeks in NYC, where I worked as a costume PA on a film project with the visionary Donna Zakowska .Observing her approach to costume design was a rare treat and a reminder of the dedication and artistry required to bring characters to life on screen. I have created a small batch of one-of-a-kind cards, each stitched and collaged by hand from studio scraps, denim, and vintage fabrics. No two are the same.

I offer free consultations for anyone curious about the process, and I delight in every job, big or small. Cards can be redeemed for most garments and fabrics.

I still can’t believe last week I got to present my senior collection to Wes Gordon ( ), Creative Director of . And somehow, I went first… completely terrifying 😅.

From the moment I started, he was kind, encouraging, and genuinely curious. We had a conversation about bringing joy, color, and weirdness into sustainable fashion, and he said how refreshing it was. And how sustainable fashion doesn’t have to be boring.

During the Q&A, he shared advice that really stuck:
• “The fashion world is a community.” You can build yours anywhere.
• Start small. One beautifully crafted product is enough to begin.

The surreal highlight? At lunch, he asked to sit with us three girls ( )We talked about design, movies he loves, his kids, and the reality of producing six collections a year.

Later, we attended his talk with St. Louis’ own and a surprise appearance from his friend

The day was grounding, inspiring, and reminded me why I love fashion so much.

A huge thank-you to the incredible , and for creating moments like this. Truly life-changing.

Being back in Dallas for FGI’s Night of Stars last week felt like a full-circle moment. Earlier this year, I won the FGI Dallas PAA Scholarship the opportunity that sent me all the way to Paris to study fashion, something I never imagined would happen. ✨

Dressed up in a pice from my own collection enjoying cocktails, a gorgeous dinner, and a runway show from Joseph Altuzarra seeing his collection in person (those coats!) was wildly inspiring. The evening honored , , and , and it was surreal being surrounded by icons like and .

My award-winning pieces were showcased as part of the celebration and fundraiser. Even though they didn’t walk the runway, seeing them displayed so thoughtfully made me so proud. 💛

I got to share this very fancy, magical evening with the person who made it all possible: my incredible professor . Her encouragement and guidance have shaped my entire fashion journey, and having her and her husband Pat there made the night even more special. 💛

I’m endlessly grateful to everyone at : Marilyn Stewart, , , , Catherine Slaughter , , and so many more. Thank you for believing in emerging designers and investing in our futures. My heart is so full. 💫
