I’m excited to share that I worked on a project with Shopwork Magazine last summer for their very first issue.
For this project, I was given an existing design from Martan as a starting point and reinterpreted it. After developing a muslin and refining the pattern, I removed the original front panel and scarf detail, keeping only the back panel to introduce a subtle surreal element — the back can now be worn as the front.
I aimed to honor Martan’s aesthetic while making the piece my own, keeping it wearable. The final garment is crafted with Marc Jacobs deadstock denim.
