We’re in love with this teal velvet jacket we made recently for a private client. It’s a copy of a jacket we made for him maybe 8 years ago in dark forest green velvet, which he said he wears so often that he wanted another to put in rotation too. (And which still looks great, by the way! Some of the binding needed replacing, and we have it a new lining out of a nicer Cupro Bemberg , but it otherwise looked almost new! Always so nice to see that!!!) That jacket was in turn based on a jacket he’d had for years prior (designed and made by Thom Browne, I believe) that had worn out over its years of wear. 🧵🧵🧵We have limited availability right now for a few private commissions, so if there’s a very special garment you’ve been yearning to have made, send an email to us, at [email protected]

This guy right in the center - David Reynoso. We are SO excited for him and his 2nd Tony Nomination, and the team who worked with him to make it happen!! I have known David for many years (both here in New York, and in Boston in the early 2000s), and he’s not only a great designer, but also a good man - the kind of person who really cares about everyone, and wants to do right by them (we work with so many wonderful people!!). Brings tears of joy to my eyes when talented AND kind people get ahead. Congratulations, David!!! 🔥❤️
