Should we have only serious models that are really ridiculously good looking? You know, women who meet a certain standard that gets them on the cover of Vogue with Derek from Zoolander. We’ve heard that facial expressions distract from the clothing too.

Statistically, these standards make sales stronger for fashion brands. We ought to listen and implement blue steel, I guess. But…

We don’t want to be like every brand. We believe choosing joy is contagious, and you deserve to receive that. In the end, Zoolander said “there is more to life than being really really really ridiculously good looking.” How about ridiculously joyful instead? 😂

We hope we’re doing something right. We receive appreciation for intentionally choosing models that are diverse and not only the industry norm. We desire for you to smile when you see the joy of our models like the darling Lauren Aviles 🌻 here in our Maura tee.

Maybe our instincts in being relatable are what helps set us apart. If we can make you feel seen with models who look like you, and with the warmth that a friend would give, that connection is something we keep smiling for.
