Let's be real - nobody buys swimwear to save the planet.

You buy it because it looks good. Because it feels good. Because it works.

So that's what we built first. OceanKnit™ Fabric - buttery soft, quick-dry, minimalist design in colorways that go with anything. The kind of shorts you wear all day without thinking about it.

And then - because the material they're made from is recovered ocean plastic - 7 bottles come out of the sea and a seaweed plant goes in.

You don't have to choose. We already did. 🌊

"Recycled" doesn't mean much anymore.

Every brand uses it. Almost none of them mean the same thing.

When I built Blauw I wanted to be able to look someone in the eye and explain every single part of what they're wearing. No vague claims, no fine print.

Actual ocean plastic. 100% of the fabric. Certified. Traceable. Real.
Plus seaweed planted with every order - because why not?

But that's exactly the assumption we built Blauw to break.

Through SEAQUAL®, those recovered nets aren't just cleaned and stitched together - they're broken down completely and spun into a new yarn. The result is ultra quick-dry, buttery soft fabric that performs like anything made from virgin material.
