Army Navy USA Military and Work Gear It was a cold winter in 1979, when R & S Army Navy opened its doors.

We were selling merchandise out of cartons, and it was flying out of the boxes. Customers needed boots, thermals, socks, and anything they could get a hold of to keep themselves warm. Demand grew for work apparel, military supplies, and casual sportsgear. Eventually, we bought out the store next door, and started establishing our business.
