SAMPLE SALE! If you're in or near Woodstock this weekend, come see me at the Flea Market in town Mower's Saturday Sunday Flea Market I'll be there with LOVE IS MIGHTY shoes and bags, along with Atelier OM with Ondi's gorgeous handwoven, block-printed fabrics and clothing.

With my BFFs and at the fundraiser this weekend, which was a huge success. Congratulations Mickey, Michael!!! Nothing beats jetlag like loving friends and shopping for a great cause. And meeting new fellow adventurers like Paul, who is passionate about Jasmine, my true love, and has created the new Jasmine fragrance harvested in south India Can’t wait to sample this one.

Happy Birthday to one of my greatest inspirations and idols, David Bowie. When asked what his advise would be to the world, he said “don’t waste a day” So today, go do what fills your heart, go make art, anything, express who you are, take a risk, even if you’re laughed at. Who cares??!! Bowie did not give a s@*t what the world thought of him. And he gave the world his greatest gift - his art, music, fashion, all of him. Thank you David Bowie❤️

It is with a very heavy heart that I share this sad news. Issey Miyake has passed away at age 84. He was my idol and Guru. I was blown away by his wild imagination and innovation. No one came close, for me.

In 1992, I interned at Issey’s showroom in NYC and often received calls from him when I had phone duty.

My final collection at Parsons School of Design, in 1993, was inspired by Issey and J. Krishnamurti, called “Freedom From The Known.” My chairman had such a strong reaction to it that he suspended me while I got the Gold Thimble award, which he could not stop.

Thank you for always inspiring me, Issey, and giving me the courage to be myself. Rest In Peace.

LOVE IS MIGHTY is in Woodstock, and I’m thrilled that the shoes are in my dear friend Ondi’s gorgeous boutique, Atelier OM. Ondi’s collection is a great example of what ‘Sustainable Fashion’ truly means. it is serendipitous that we both worked with the same artisans in India, unbeknownst to us initially.

Her indigo-dyed block-printed designs are stunning. Every item is carefully picked or worked on. Above all, she has heart. People, Planet, Animals over profit; values LOVE IS MIGHTY has always honoured and upheld.

We’ve had parallel journeys, and it was only a matter of time before our paths would intersect at 39a Tinker street. Thank you Ondi! Please stop by, hear her fun adventures, drink a cup of chai, and pick up some truly unique art and fashion.
