Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations for inspiring leaders to receive these cufflinks with 1979 MLK Jr commemorative stamps. The people and institutions put forward are doing truly incredible work and the decision was hard. So hard in fact, that I will be making another set, and sending them to not one, but two people. So, thank you Rebecca Packer for your nomination of Andrew Mahood of Food For The Poor Inc., and thank you Christopher Stevens, for your nomination of Craig B Gaddy Sr. of Friendship Baptist Church in Brooklyn. In the words Chris used in his nomination, both men are "living examples of Dr. King's dream." Congratulations to you both, and thank you for all you do. I'll be reaching out to find the best address to send the cufflinks.

Happy MLK day! I found a 1979 stamp commemorating Martin Luther King Jr, and decided that instead of making it into cufflinks for sale, I would create a set to give away to honor someone doing work in the spirit of this incredible man. So, please help me find an inspirational person to honor. Nominate people today, and tomorrow I’ll choose the honoree to receive this set of cufflinks (normally $295) in your name. The person could be male or female, or could even be an organization (if, for instance, cufflinks might help them in an auction they have planned).
