Fear is an emotion that can be helpful or harmful. For instance, it’s helpful to have the fear—or reverence—of the Lord, which keeps us from sin. And it’s also beneficial to have a healthy fear that warns of dangers. But oftentimes we are plagued by a different kind of fear, which keeps us from obeying God; this kind is usually rooted in self-focus rather than faith. As Paul wrote to Timothy, we may have “a spirit of timidity,” which originates in faulty thinking (2 Timothy 1:7). Renew your mind!!!!

As we welcome the New Year and we use this time to reflect on our life and the things that could have been and should have been, we must remember that When we do that, it can sometimes cloud our path forward and it should not!! We live, we make mistakes, we may have regrets but that is why it’s called life!!! But we must learn from them and use them to start new. Don’t let the Devil rob you or condemn you! Our Riverside Boys went 2-0 today beating both teams by 20+ and I got have a Daddy Daughter after the game. Nothing like big smiles, big ribs and some banana pudding to celebrate.
