We had the honor of welcoming the visit of Mr. the Wali of the Marrakech-Safi region, as part of the monitoring of the programs of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).

On this occasion, the officials had the opportunity to discover the different facilities of our entity, as well as its organization and operating model, reflecting a structured know-how and a production dynamic in constant evolution.

Through this institutional recognition, DOUM, alongside the DOUM FOR WOMEN cooperative, further strengthens its commitment as a key driver of socio-economic development, actively fostering inclusion and sustainable opportunities.

We had the pleasure, on the sidelines of GITEX AFRICA 2026, of accepting the invitation of Mr. Tarik Sadik, Director of Maison de l’Artisan, to attend a high-level panel discussion on the theme: “Digital Transformation for the Handicraft Sector,”
held in the presence of Mr. Lahcen Saadi, Secretary of State in charge of Handicrafts.

It was an inspiring moment of exchange alongside committed stakeholders who work every day to promote a Moroccan craftsmanship that is innovative, sustainable, and resolutely future-oriented.

At a time of digital transformation, Moroccan craftsmanship is asserting more than ever its place in tomorrow’s economy.

On March 28, 2026, we had the honor of welcoming Mr. Aziz Bouignane, Governor of the Rehamna Province, as well as Mr. Abdelaziz Rghioui, Director of the Training and Qualification Center for Craft Trades.

This visit was an opportunity to highlight the remarkable work of our craftswomen, the richness of artisanal professions, and the importance of preserving this know-how while embracing innovation and sustainable development.
