I’ve always been honored to share a birthday with my favorite director George Cukor, whose oeuvre was distinguished by its elegance both in its writing, acting and of course, direction, as well as his film’s visual elegance. His work featured some of the most dazzling evening dresses usually worn in big climactic scenes whether drama or comedy, always adding extra pizzazz to the proceedings and movie memories which stay with one forever.
