The debut collection from Kristina Trogdon of Quilt Verve.com blends vintage, bohemian florals, medallions, moonlight tones, varying scales large, medium, and small florals, textural dobby print, blenders for gradient design options. Kristina’s softly washed palette of navy, muted blues and neutrals gives an elegant boho effect to quilts, clothing, crafts and décor.

“I called it MoonWashed because of the navy midnight sky with the cream moon beams that inspire my evening meditations in the grass.” The group is also influenced in part by her fashion background, as each print would also work beautifully on its own as a boho dress print.

Deb Eggers loves the deep, rich colors of fall, so it’s no surprise that they form the palette for her debut collection for Marcus.  The group features a sophisticated mix of acorn and leaf motifs with coordinating textures. “My love of fall colors and acorns has inspired my first line, Oak Alley. Although for me these colors can be used any time of year and with any style of quilt. Give me a batch of reds, golds, greens, browns, navy and I can design a quilt for you.”

The iconic “Schoolhouse” quilting motif is the inspiration for this new group by Paula Barnes, in deep blues mixed with neutrals.  Her needlepoint-inspired schoolhouse print in dark blues and light grounds for positive-negative effects lends itself to fusion quilts with your own hand stitching, embroidery, etc.  Gold accent coordinates add interest.

Thanks to all who entered our Charmed, I'm Sure" contest at H&H Americas in Chicago! We're pleased to announce that Melissa and Josh of Paisley Duck Quilting in Kelso, WA won the deluxe prize pack!
