Where does the time go.. yesterday we completed our final show for summer and wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who came out, saw us and supported our business over these last couple of months.. Yes it was hot.. sometimes brutally so, but you showed up at our usual shows at Grand Bazaar NYC and Queens Night Market but also we did venture out for our debuts with Time Travelers Vintage Expo (get well soon Sarah) and helped with the launch of Vintage in the Hudson Valley Festival (who were already confirmed with for July 2027). We don’t take your support for granted its what drives us to continue to source amazing things to bring to you.. Thank you again to everyone. We’re going to take a quick break to rest and recharge we’ll see you all after Labor Day..

to give you an idea of the investment a seemingly humble market vendor has to make to bring you the amazing finds on our tables weekly.. We’re prepping a submission of cards for grading that spans over 20 printed pages. This is the cost just for grading and not inclusive of the cost in both time and money of acquisition which adds probably another $1,500 to this number.. BUT we feel the results are worth the effort.. you can see us and part of our collection of cards most weeks at Grand Bazaar NYC and Queens Night Market

On our desk is this 1949 issue of Vogue. We don’t get vintage issues of Vogue often since they are very hard (and expensive) to acquire. We acquired this issue due to numerous problems including tears and missing pages (including the back cover.) The cover pictured has some issues in the corners that we should be about to partially trim away without compromising the integrity. You’ll be able to find this in our Fashion binder around Labor Day. Until then you can find over 1000 vintage advertisements at our shows with Queens Night Market and Grand Bazaar NYC

We went to the The National 🇺🇸 this week in Chicago getting home late lady night this is what we just unpacked.. We lost a day due to one of our flights getting cancelled so we only had about 7 total hours on the show floor to make acquisitions.. there are cards from all 4 major sports plus some other fun things we found. Our spend for the show was approximately $1,500 in cash and trades.. Next steps will be organizing and getting a bunch of these ready for submission to grade (anticipated sending out by the end of August which will hopefully have some of these on our tables by early October..) But now back to work.. tonight we’re at Queens Night Market and tomorrow at Grand Bazaar NYC while the new acquisitions won’t yet be available we have plenty of cards on our tables..

We keep this fortune cookie wisdom attached to our work bench. We do pour our heart and soul into what we do so we can present something unique at our shows.. Due to a cancelled flight we’re home today rather than in Chicago (we’ll see them tomorrow for a shortened trip..) life gives you lemons, you work on vintage advertisements. We’ll be back from Chicago late Friday night then we’ll turn right around for shows at Queens Night Market (which wasn’t originally on our schedule..) Saturday and at Grand Bazaar NYC on Sunday..

Today on the desk from 1970 an advertisement for the 1971 Dodge Charger.. this was a back cover so it does have some wear but that’s part of the charm and proof that our advertisements are genuine and have survived, in this case for 56 years. You can see our collection most weekends in and around NYS on Saturdays at Queens Night Market and Sundays at Grand Bazaar NYC We also pop up occasionally at shows and festivals.. during 2026 we’ve already been with Totally Rad Vintage Fest Vintage in the Hudson Valley Festival and Time Travelers Vintage Expo

From a 1970 issue of Pl***oy by John Dempsey. Based on the rumored reputation kind of what I imagine surprising grandma if she lived in the Villages in Fla.. Not ready for our binders yet but will be before the holiday season.

New to our archive with thanks to our friend Lorelei Gruss Jewelry (who creates amazing jewelry) for the tip. This beautiful 1931 issue of Needlecraft magazine. Just look at the amazing cover art by John Edwin Jackson. For the time being this will reside in our archive but we’ll have it out on our tables soon (least before it turns 100..). For the time being we’re done with our road trips so you can find us most Saturday evenings at Queens Night Market and Sundays at Grand Bazaar NYC
